Spring has sprung and there’s no one better to help\u00a0celebrate the warm weather than your child’s favorite Nick Jr. friends! These flower pots are the perfect activity for you and your kid\u00a0to work on together.<\/p>\n

What You’ll Need<\/strong><\/p>\n

Printable templates (print below!)<\/p>\n

2\u00a0Sheets carbon paper<\/p>\n

1 4.5\u201d Diameter clay pot<\/p>\n

1 Scissor<\/p>\n

White Glue<\/p>\n

Yellow glitter glue<\/p>\n

Purple glitter<\/p>\n

Costume pearl embellishments<\/p>\n

Paints (tan, blue, purple, pink, white, yellow, black)<\/p>\n

3 Brushes (recommended sizes: 1\/2, #1 & #5)<\/p>\n

Pencil<\/p>\n

Black marker<\/p>\n

Black paint pen (fine point for detail work)<\/p>\n

Masking tape<\/p>\n

Toothpicks<\/p>\n

Print Now<\/a><\/p>\n

How to Make<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step One<\/strong>:\u00a0Download the template and print out onto 8.5×11 paper. Select your child’s favorite character, or make all four!<\/p>\n

Step Two<\/strong>:\u00a0Use scissors to cut the template following cut marks.<\/p>\n

Step Three<\/strong>:\u00a0Trace edge of the cut template pieces onto the back side of the carbon paper (the lighter side).<\/p>\n

Step Four<\/strong>:\u00a0Using masking tape, tape both the cut carbon paper and cut template to the clay pot. The black side of the carbon paper should face the clay pot.<\/p>\n

Step Five<\/strong>:\u00a0Paint the image! Use a black paint pen for fine detail work and a black marker to finish off the outlines.<\/p>\n

Step Six<\/strong>:\u00a0Glue glitter to the lantern detail and add pearl embellishments\u00a0to the headband. Set aside to dry.<\/p>\n
